Discover the hotel
A grand historic house just steps from the old town. Santiago’s first urban design hotel combines sleek modern elements with its Neo-Gothic heritage. Set at the foot of hilltop park Cerro Santa Lucía, known for its panoramic city views, this early 20th-century mansion is just a few minutes’ walk from the national art gallery Bellas Artes and the city’s historic centre. Originally built by a powerful political family, this mansion is now a quirky mix of old and new. Stained-glass windows featuring coats of arms, a grand marble spiral staircase and heavy wooden doors somehow work alongside modern geometric light fittings, glass walkways, a bar full of back-lit bottles and a glass ceiling which floods the lobby and restaurant with light.

Restaurants & Bars
Kitchen & Bar Magnolia - Dotted with potted palms (and the requisite marigolds) and hung with enormous, balloon-like Tom Dixon lamps, the restaurant is bright and modern. The Magnolia Kitchen presents a weekly changing menu using seasonal and fresh ingredients. The Chef delights guests with his modern takes on Chilean cuisine and the creative use of Chilean ingredients, which will awaken your palate and your senses.
Everything on the restaurant’s menu can be ordered to your room between 7am and 10pm.

Alameda Station is a 20-minute drive from Hotel Magnolia. However, trains in Chile are unreliable and only run the relatively short distance from Santiago to Talca. You’re better off driving or taking taxis. Taxis are easy to hail and good value
If you plan on exploring Chile beyond Santiago, you’ll need a car. Hire one from a booth at the airport, then take the Costanera Norte to the hotel.
